WI: Satan is worshipped and not God

"Ha-Satan", which means the opposer or adversary, was not a specific character in the Torah, but would refer to anyone, angel or human.

I believe that UCLA Professor Henry Kelly mentions in his book, Satan: A Biography, considers that Satan holds the position, or in fact is the title of the position, of chief prosecutor (basically) for God. He monitors and tests Mankind to prove their worthiness to entering Heaven.

several ancient peoples worship two sets of Gods : Aesir-Vanir or Asura-Daeva. in some case they break-up into two people with its own sets of Gods, with other Gods become Satan/Devil figure. we could have rival civilization who think the other civilization worship Satan.

failure of Zoroastrianism could ended with Iranian worshipping Asura while India worship Daeva. that several million Satan worshipping people.

Assuming that we go “less elitist Gnostic sect somehow becomes a mainstream religion in an ancient society” and Christianity/Judaism are still around, how bad would religious conflicts get? In OTL the conflicts between Abrahamic sects were very, very bloody at times, and that is with all sides worshiping the same God. In this ATL, there would be people who outright venerate the figure your holy text claims is an embodiment of evil .
