I have heard from a lot of historians that Roosevelt seriously weakened his health by going on the Rondon Expedition in 1913 and 1914. He ended up not only suffering a terrible infection due to a leg wound, but lingering malaria and other issues ruined his health such as the death of his son in World War One and he died in 1919 at the age of 60. What if he had lived. I've heard that some say he could have seriously challenged for the Republican nomination in 1920. While I don't think he'd win, would he maybe restart the bull moose party. Would he support LaFollette in 1924? Any ideas would be helpful
