WI: Romney and Obama come to blows at Hofstra Debate?

What if one personally insults the other or says something derogatory about the other's family?

I had an idea to have a scene where one candidate insults the other's wife, the injured party demands an apology, the other ignores him. This would go on until the second candidate slugs the other.

What if that happened?

To be honest, one of them simply invading the other's personal space that bit too far and the other quietly saying 'Mr President/Governor, back off a little, will ya?' would probably win the election for the person whose space had been invaded. You don't need an actual punch.

MSNBC would make it look like Romensy fault even if he dont do anything.

Stand up comedians, SNL, Daily show would have a field day
