WI: Romania under Ceausescu invades Moldova

It's NOT a good question. At this time Moldova was part of USSR (I'm not sure whether it was republic or some other administrative unit, however),

A Soviet Socialist Republic.

Hmmm....... i think that situation, ewhen romania helped Moldova to win Trinistria is more realistic: but in batles for Banderi(OTL) a lot of russian soldiers from 14 russian army joined to benderi's defender, because they had families here.

Well, if he played his cards right, you could end up with the USSR falling apart right there. Warsaw pact dissolved, and its former member all go to war to be free of Russia. Or maybe some sort USSr that rejected Russia because it was too dominant. Implausible, but if they could think that they were going to be a strong enough united front and western support.

You'll have to change the TL a little, delay it a few years. The Soviets were being humiliated in Afghanistan and would probably love to swat at an ally gone astray, and slap them back in line. Try after the fall of the USSR, that will be the most plausible time, other wise its ASB territory.

Yeah....And this isn't just an ally gone astray...Its an ally totally going about face and directly invading them. Even nations they weren't previously friendly with didn't do that!
Romania would die.
