Romania was treaty-bound to enter World War I in 1914 on the side of Germany and (partially due to both having Hohenzollerns on the throne), but stayed neutral until joining the Entente in 1916 to acquire Transylvania. What if Romania had sided with Germany and Austria in the beginning?
