WI: Roberto Farinacci leads the Italian Social Republic?

I know this probably wouldn't change history much, but lets say the Germans cancel their plan to liberate Mussolini and give Farinacci the reigns of Salo. Would there be any difference in history?

Benito Mussolini could get tried for his crimes assuming he doesn't commit suicide before he's brought to justice, I guess. Whether that's better or worse than his OTL fate is a matter of individual judgment.

Even less legitimancy for the RSI and probably much less people will flock to his side as it was the figure of Mussolini to inspire that loyalty.
Bad thing for the rest of Italy as Farinacci was a sick sadic bastard
