WI: Robert Peel Lives

In 1850 former British PM Robert Peel was the leader of the "Peelites", a faction of the Conservatives who differed from their comrades in being in favour of free trade. The Conservatives were so far divided between the Peelites and the rest of the party that despite winning a more seats than the Whigs in 1847, the Whigs would be able to govern. In June 1850 Peel would be thrown from his horse, dying in July. Following his death, the Peelites would eventually form the Liberal Party alongside the Whigs and Radicals.
This seems like a very easy event to butterfly, and begs the question: what if Robert Peel lived longer? He was 62 when he died, so wouldn't necessarily have a massively long career left but 60-somethings and above becoming Prime Minister and serving in the cabinet is hardly unusual in British history.

No interest?
Perhaps Peel goes on to form and lead the Liberals himself, taking them in a different direction to OTL. Or maybe he reunites his faction with the Conservatives and stops them from becoming so protectionist.

Aberdeen and Palmerston both older than him.
