Howard likely would have kept on writing. There were some incomplete Conan and Solomon Kane stories. There's really no telling what else he would have written. If he lived until 1986, it's likely that he might have disowned the Conan movies produced in the 1980s.

Probably mostly westerns. He was already beginning to turn to the Western market in the year or so before his death.

We'd have "Robert E. Howard" westerns instead of "Louis L'Amour" ones, and every now and then a really devoted fan would mention that he had done some other stuff when he was young, but it wasn't a patch on his Comanche County Chronicles . . .
