Many of the reasons why supposedly progressive people flocked to Ralph Nader and refused to consider voting for Al Gore was saying that the "oligarchical two-party system" unfairly prevented Nader from participating in the 2000 debates the way Ross Perot had in 1992. The documentary, An Unreasonable Man continually bashes Gore and the DNC for refusing him and saying that the people were denied. But suppose they'd had their way, and Nader stood onstage with Gore and Bush. What would've gone down, and how would it have affected the election results? Would it have simply split the liberal vote even more than ITTL? Or would voters have started flocking back to Gore's side and push him over to win the Presidency?
