WI: Quisling Succumbs to His Wounds.

On Febuary 2, 1932, Vidkun Quisling was attacked in his office in Ministry of Defense by a knife wielding person. What if the stabs had hit more vital areas or if the blow to his head caused permant damage? It has been suggested at times to Quisling's constant lobbying in later years for Germany to be the protector of Norway from British aggression. How would this removal from the scene have affect his ally Rosenberg, who built up political capital tied to him. Would Hitler, who had Quisling as his guest many times before and during the War, not be as quick to invade Norway and Denmark without his encouragement and warnings? And if even if everything up to the invasion went roughly as it would have before, what would the effect of Quisling never delivering his radio adress or the Nazis demanding Quisling as Prime Minister have as an effect on Norwegian resistance and the King's willingness to negotiate.
