WI Quintus Sertorius Captures Pompey at Sucro

So in otl while Sertorius was trying to establishing his own domain in Hispania he had to fight with Pompey's forces and at the battle of Sucro nearly captured Pompey. What would be the ramifications if for example Pompey either died during the battle or was held as Sertoius prisoner on the development of the roman republic and hispania in general and how would this event change roman history?

I'm unsure as to what sort of government system this new Iberian state, under Sertorius, would use. The Iberian tribes, as a whole, had no tradition of unified monarchy, so i'd discard Sertorius becoming king as an option. A confederation or republic seems like the most likely outcome.
