WI: Queen Charlotte of Cyprus marries a member of France's Valois dynasty?

In OTL, Queen Charlotte of Cyprus was married twice - once to the Infante Dom João, the Duke of Coimbra, whom she married in 1456, and later to Ludovico, the Duke of Savoy, in 1459. What if, instead, she decided to marry a Valois? Here, there are two options, both of them her senior - Louis XI of France or his brother, the Duke of Berry.

Queen Charlotte

She was the last legitimate heiress of the Lusignan dynasty of Cyprus. She was over-thrown by her half brother James. Even if she had married into the French royal family, I don't think this would have prevented her from losing her throne. At this period, France is still recovering from the long wars with England, and interest in Cyprus was minimal.

K, so James can be butterflied out (say that his "birth" was a miscarriage instead). Could a marriage to Charlotte of Cyprus provide a necessary diversion?

Queen Charlotte

Remember that Queen Charlotte's mother was an Orthodox Greek and head of the Greek faction at the court of King John II. This faction was blamed for the early death of Charlotte's first husband, John of Coimbra. If Charlotte marries a French husband, then the Greeks would have feared the establishment of a new Roman Catholic dynasty. I predict a revolt and a very short reign for them.
