WI: Quebec seceded in 1975

There would also be something of an argument over a fair number of the local communities along the new eastern border wanting to secede from Quebec and re-join Canada IIRC.

Ungava would also secede from Quebec.

Not necessarily - if Quebec was willing to make some concessions (in particular, a good degree of autonomy coupled with a stream of funding from Quebec City), the aborigines in Ungava could probably be convinced to come along.

This is a bigger problem, in my opinion - but how could such a thing be negotiated without also having to let some districts of Montreal also stay in Canada? Could there be a Canadian enclave there?
