Inspired by the other Puyi thread.

In 1924, after a warlord coup, Puyi was stripped of the preferential treatment that the Republic of China agreed to give him.

He moved to his father's home, but then decided to flee and seek shelter in a foreign embassy.

His first choice was the British Embassy, unfortunately Sir Reignald Johnston, his English tutor, which had an enormous influence over Puyi, was a Japanophile shot down that idea and insisted that he would be safer in the Japanese Embassy.

This ultimately lead to him becoming the puppet emperor of Manchukuo.

But what if Sir Reignald didnt shot down Puyi's original plan and he fled to the British Embassy instead?
