WI: Prussia joined the Third Coalition

What if Prussia, along with Saxony, joined the Third Coalition against Napoleon? Could they have tipped the scale in the Allies favor?

Anything's better than going crazy in 1806 and fighting Napoleon alone;)

I've always wondered why the Prussians stayed out of the Napoleonic wars for so long, seeing as they were one of the parties who started the French Revolutionary wars. Was digesting Poland taking so much of their energy?

I feel like Napoleon would try and pull his usual tricks here: decline battle when facing overwhelming odds and maneuver to defeat his enemies in detail. As long as Czar Alexander is impetuous enough to be goaded into battle, I don't think this strategy can be properly countered. How fast could the Prussians realistically move, anyways?

Well if we go by 1813 standards, which are better than 1806 standards, Prussia declared war on France in March and was ready to fight by May. So they may be a bit slow, ;)

Okay, so if they declared war right after Ulm, they still wouldn't be ready in time for Austerlitz. They're no help, basically.
