Night of the Bloody Clubs - Growing right wing group "Blue Shirts" go on a rampage. Anyone believed to have ties to Britain or even being against the regime are attacked. Michael Collins shot resisting arrest.
1936 - De Valera Legion sent to fight in Spanish Civil War. One of the last forces to withdraw as Spain goes Red
1937 - Blue Shirts march on Northern Ireland. British military greets them. Blue Shirts go home. Blue Shirt leader O'Higgins ordered arrested. O'Higgins and his two sons shot resisting arrest
Hitler calls for a plebiscite where the whole island of Ireland votes, Great Britain will only agree to letting Northern Ireland vote on whether the region stays with Britain or goes Irish
Sporadic violence erupts in the North
1938 - World War II starts in Europe when Communists seize power in Austria. The People's Republics of Germany, Spain, and Russia send troops to support the coup.
England, France, Italy, and Japan ally to stop the spread of Communism.
Ireland unwilling to ally with Britain or Communists declares neutrality.
1940 - Taft/Lindbergh win US election, sign treaty of friendship with Ireland
1941 - The combine Russo-German military in conjunction with uprisings in the major cities leads to the Fall of France. Italy switches sides. Colonies in open revolt.
1942 - Soviet forces stat to build up Operation naval forces for Operation: Sea Serpent
US troops in Ireland for joint exercises
1944 - Sea Serpent canceled when Soviets drop Atomic bombs on Manchester and Birmingham, Britain and Japan surrender
Irish and American troops march into Northern Ireland with little resistance
Hitler declares himself "Taoiseach for Life", the new position has no term limit
1945 - Hitler dies of a heart attack, Soviets are blamed, more purges within Irish Government
Adolf's nephew, Patrick Hitler, declared Taoiseach
1961 - Joseph Kennedy, Jr. Vs Sergey Kirov, Jr. in what became known as the "Irish Missile Crisis"
