WI Pratt kills Verwoerd?

What happens if David Pratt's aim is slightly better and Verwoerd is killed in April 1960? How are apartheid policies affected and does the arms embargo still go up?

I'd ask Marius or TheMann on order of precedence, but I do know that in 1966 Vorster was minister of justice/DPM. Vorster was slightly pragmatic, but as a Nazi sympathizer in WWII don't expect him to be Khrushchev to de Klerk's Gorby. Botha is far too junior at this point- only a deputy minister of defence. Viljoen is too moderate and is a senator- he'd need to be a MHA to become PM.

Probably not a lot of difference had Pratt not lived up to his name. Vervoed would have been replaced by another hard liner and arms embargoes would have come in. As it was Vorster continued similar policies to Vervoed. It would have taken other factors for arms embargoes and sporting boycotts to have come in earlier unless an ultra hardliner replaced Vervoed
