WI: POW Marlene Dietrich

Recently I''ve seen a TV-documentary, stating that Marlene Dietrich was nearly captured on one of her extended tours for the USO by the advancing german army during the Battle of the Bulge. Like all other Hollywood stars she had the rank of a captain in the US Army, but would her rank and her fame have protected her for throughout the war Nazi propaganda had painted her as a traitor for helping the allies (which she really did working with the OSS).

Oh, I think Marlene is in serious trouble, she's embarrassingly ex-German.

No way are they holding her as a regular female POW, certainly not in the final days.

I'm guessing she either becomes a pawn for senior Nazis attempting to negotiate their surrender, or she's getting disappeared for good when they realise all is lost (she's total degenerate scum as far as they're concerned).

Taking into account the cold, sometimes even hostile reception Marlene Dietrich experienced during her only postwar visit to Germany during her tour in 1960, 15 years after the end of the war, and the accusations of treason she still had to face, it wouldn't have been surprising if the latter would have happened, had she been captured by one of those SS units who shot surrendering G.I.s instead of the Wehrmacht, she might have even been killed on the spot.

If the regualars got her she would stand a chance.
Sadly if the SS got to her then they would have "fun" with her I wouldn't be surprised if she ended up in a SS comfort station and then executed

They don't touch her at first. Whoever's got her asks their boss who asks Hitler who orders her guillotined.
