Uh, after 1900? Unlikely. There were some backstage talks in the Polish Sejm in the 1920s about introducing some member of the British monarchy to the Polish throne, as the Sachsen-Coburg-Gotha family were realted to the Saxon Wettins, who in turn were the legitimate heirs to the Polish throne. But that was when the the question whether Poland would be monarchy or republic was still open, and it was soon closed. Later it was just tabloid rumors being spread.
So essentially, it would require the UK to have a completly different stance on Poland during and right after WWI - supporting Poland, making sure that the nationalists/monarchists are placed in power (rather than socialists) and "suggesting" a House of Windsor member as a candidate.
