WI:Piast Dynasty gets extinct in the 11th century

If the legitemate line of the Piast Dynasty gets extinct because of the plotting of Sieciech in the 11th century, will the Premyslids try to get the Polish throne or Sieciech's dynasty will rule Poland.

I'm not sure if Sieciech was strong enough to keep the throne, although I agree he was ambitious enough to try. But he was quite unpopular, AFAIR, so I believe his rule wouldn't have lasted too long - a civil war would have been almost certain, possibly also division of Poland between variosu pretenders. Eventually it might lead to conquest of Poland (or at least Silesia and/or Cracow) by Premyslids. .

Yeah, I think the Premyslids and Gryfita(the Pomeranian house) will partition Poland.

I do not know about the Griffins. Without Boleslaus the Wrymouth Wratislaw I might never openly convert to Christianity. It was Boleslaus who sent Otto of Bamberg to chritianize Pomerania, which strengthened Wratislaw's position among his subjects. Poland was also a model for new administration in Pomerania, which also made duke's power stronger. So without the Boleslaus there might be no House of Gryffins - duke of Pomerania would be just another pagan prince ruling a relatively loose federation of tribes and city-republics (Wolin, Szczecin/Stettin). Open ground for German expansion, I think.

When did the Silesian Piasts split off? Is that before or after the PoD?

After. All branches of Piast family (Silesian, Masovian, Kuyavian etc.) were started by sons of Boleslaus the Wrymouth. The PoD is that palatine Sieciech eliminates Piast dynasty, i.e. Władysław I Herman and his sons, Zbigniew and Boleslaus the Wrymouth.
