WI Phil Spector shoots John Lennon?

PoD: 1974

During the incident when he pulled a gun on John Lennon, Phil Spector winds up killing him.

Effects, anyone? (Given the amount of times Phil Spector pulled a gun on people, some sort of incident was inevitable and, sadly, such an incident occurred in 2003 and led to Lana Clarkson's murder and Phil Spector's conviction on second-degree murder charges.)

My namesake is spared the embarrassment of being associated with Lennon's killer; however, given that Mark David will still probably be inclined to act as he did, he may kill someone else. Maybe instead of John Hinckley, it's Chapman who shoots Reagan (or perhaps they both go after him). Obviously both Spector and Lennon's careers are cut short, although I don't know how much music Lennon was actively putting out at the time. Rock 'n' Roll either never comes out, or whatever they have put together by the time of his death, if anything, is released posthumously. Spector most likely never does his later work with Leonard Cohen and the Ramones, meaning their styles remain different at least somewhat without his influence.
