What if, in the Spanish Civil War, Republican leaders make overtures to their ex South American colonies for help in fighting the Fascists?
I was thinking of the ex colonies sending a fair whack of troops to swamp Franco's forces, backed up with enough pilots (and aircraft if they can get them) to clear the skies of the Legion Condor and enough munitions and supplies to keep them and the Spanish Republican forces in theatre?
Would the exe's be up for sending troops to Spain?
Would there be enough logistics (ships) to transfer these forces either by Spain or the exe's?, if not would nations such as the UK help ship these forces across the Atlantic?
What effect would the extra air assets be on the Legion Condor?
Would the Fascists nations get more deeply involved or just accept the inevitable defeat of Franco's forces?
