In 57 AD Paul returned to Jerusalem from his third missionary journey and begun preaching in the Temple... Some Jews got angry from his words assaulted him and beat him... on the same time Tribune Claudius Lysias intervened and arrested Paul for causing troubles and imprisoned him to the Antonia Fortress... The next day he sent him to the Sanhendrin to judge him but he still caused troubles and the Tribune decided to send him to Procurator Antonius Felix in Caesarea... In the meanwhile Paul's nephew learned that there was a plot by High-Priests to murder Paul while he would be transfered to Caesarea and warned the Tribune Lysias and saved him...
