WI- Patton in Korea?

So Patton died from his injuries after a car accident in Germany, but lets say he doesn't die or is not fatally wounded right? So when the Korean war comes around, would they move Patton over to Korea so you could get him out of Germany after he made some choice words on denazification? If so, would impact would he have over there? I don't really know that much about the Korean War other than the basics so I won't take any guess haha

We are making the assumption that Korea War will still happen, or the Cold War as we know it period. Although what would Patton request in Korea and can he possibly beat the North Korea before the Chinese intervention, who had both reservations and some issues with preparations.

He was scheduled for retirement after leaving Germany, and was making noises about resigning his commission. Even if he had stayed on in the Army, MacArthur would have vetoed his appointment as CG EUSAK, just as he had blocked George's transfer to the Pacific in 1945. MacArthur wouldn't tolerate anybody in his theater who was a bigger media-whore than he was, and the Pentagon virtually never overruled Doug on a personnel assignment. I do not see Patton ever making it to Korea. I can't even see him remaining on active duty by that point.

Perhaps he can go to China as an adviser for Chiang Kai-shek. Hopefully he gets rid of Chen Yi.

There isn't enough room in Asia for both MacArthur and Patton. Since Mac had five stars and was effectively the Shogun of Japan, Patton wouldn't have a prayer.

Patton had also ruffled a few feathers too many post war. Patton had his spurs cut off after pissing off Ike one time too many. He lost his 3rd Army combat command and was assigned to command 15th Army, which sounds great until you find out 15th Army was, literally, a bunch of clerks and librarians. He would have been retired at his mandatory retirement age of 62 (November 11, 1947) with all due pomp.
