What if the Pan American Union decides to join the war on the side of the allies and contribute whatever they can to the war effort? How with this affect the outcome of the war?
Or, what if the Pan American Union split and started a war on the American continent?
From this group, three countries contributed military forces to the Allied war effort:
The other 18 countries from this group contributed given support in many ways on lesser degrees or limited to war declaration.
- United States
- Brazil, from 1942, participated in anti-submarine warfare in the South and Central Atlantic and; in July 1944 sent an Expeditionary Force of 25,000 army and air force personnel to the Italian campaign;
- Mexico, in March 1945 sent an air force unit, Escuadrón 201 to join the US Far East Air Force, during the Philippines campaign.

More help might make it easier to defeat the U-boats, but the chances of these nations sending many troops to Europe are rather slim.
Maybe not Europe, but in Asia maybe? Helping the USA take on Japan?
What's in it for countries like Ecuador or Chile or Costa Rica to send in troops to fight some foreign enemy?
By December 1941 it basically was.
Ignoring how ASB this is, whatever nations split are beaten into submission by American and Canada within a few months tops.
Would the US and Canada have the forces to waste putting down minor South American Axis nations? Would there even be any real value in trying? None have militaries that are of concern to the US/Canada. I guess the Mexicans could make life difficult on the border for a little while but that's it.
