First of all, I didn't make it specific in the title by accident. I am referring to WWI.
Second of all, which one is more likely to happen? For that matter, are either of them likely to happen? Assume a POD no earlier than 1900, and WWI still starts
on schedule.
Third of all, assuming it manages to do one of the two, beyond no Gallipoli and a better time for the Russians, how does WWI change with the Ottomans either not aiding the Central Powers or fighting the Central Powers? And once WWI ends, how will the Empire fair in the post-WWI world? IIRC, oil in the Middle East was found in large quantities in the 20s and 30s.
Lastly, how will this change the makeup in the Middle East? How will this change the way Jews, Arabs, Kurds, and Turks interact with each other?
