WI: OTL was written by an author

Okay. This guy is clearly running out of ideas. In the First World War (he calls it the Great War in the book, apparently changes his mind), France stands firm and Russia collapses. Then in the Second World War, France collapses, and Russia stands firm.
 
I think so. It is obvious that Turtletaub has just run out of Ideas.

Hey I actually liked how he poked fun at himself by repeatedly including the same annoying habits in every book like he was criticised for doing during some of his early work.

Not to mention that the alliances are pretty much the same, with Germany starting the war twice, and the US involvement ending it twice.

Then there is Marxists turning Russia into a great power. Yeah, right.
Another problem: why wouldn't a state that faces complete annihilation use chemical and biological weapons?
