WI: Other 1914 Central Power/ Entente ?

What if there was another CP/ Entente in 1914?
Something like this:

CENTRAL POWER:
- German Empire
- Austria-Hungary
- Bulgaria
- Sweden
- Norway
- The Netherlands
- Albania
- Japan
- Brazil
- Mexico
- Argentina
- Colombia
- Peru

ENTENTE:
- France
- Belgium
- Russia
- Serbia
- Roumania
- Italy
- Montenegro
- Greece
- Spain
- Andorra
- Portugal
- Equador
- Chile
- Thailand

Great Britain is not allied with Belgium and is not interested in a war, the Ottomans aren`t interested in a war either and the U.S. doesn`t matter, so they keep neutral.

(I know that map, kinda sucks, sorry)

Argentina was really pro-British, pro-Italian and pro-French at this time. You need a very good POD to get her in the Central Powers side.

Mexico: Emperor Maximillian stays on throne and ties to break the french shackles constraining him (which put him on a throne on the first place).
USA scoffed at the Monroe doctrine as a darn nonsense.
Japan: russia did't like the outcome of 1905 war and attacks.

South American nations, and especially Central American ones (especially, especially Mexico) are going to have to think long and hard about joining the Central Powers. They're living in the shadow of a power that is perfectly happy to pay them a visit if they step out of line, not to mention quite a lot of others would give them an attitude adjustment for working closer with Germany.

OTL Mexico joining the Central Powers isn't actually impossible, it's on between US and Mexico is US enters the war though, it would be almost impossible for Mexico to get out of a war which it will be curbstomped in at that point.

I think the Latin American involvement is pretty much ASB. Also probably Britain staying neutral once one side starts winning heavily, because of fears about one bloc dominating the continent.

Avoiding those problems I think the central powers win big, unless there is a significant difference in the performance of one or both sides. Germany simply has too much industrial and military power and the entente are too spread. Even if France performed a lot better in the initial battles or Germany gets drawn too deeply into Russia I would expect the central powers to win. Possibly fairly decisively after a year or two of bloody slog.
