The title says it all. According to a new book, The Bin Ladens: An Arab Family in the American Century, Osama bin Laden had an older brother. He
was an airline pilot who died in a plane crash. Anyway, bin Laden's brother was as pro-Western as bin Laden is anti-Western. If his brother survived, according to the book, he would have influenced him to be different. That said,
a pro-Western, pro-American Osama bin Laden, and no 9/11/01.

Why has there been a recent spathe of people spamming the forums by posting a scenario or event happening or not happening (in this case, 9/11) through the most unlikely or outlandish means (in this case, OBL brother surviving)?

We are going through some kind of a period where people's imaginations start overflowing.

Probably this is my first experience.

You mean Salem bin Laden? Who died in 1988, when Osama was about thirty years old?

Yes, that's his name. Salem. Anyway, Salem bin Laden, as I said before,
was an airline pilot. He flew in weapons for Osama during the Afghanistan War, and helped him that way. According to the new book The Bin Ladens, Salem died in a plane crash. It was as result of Salem's death that
Osama went over the edge and into fundamentalism. Salem, according the book, could have been a moderating influence on him.

I doubt if I'm spamming this forum. If I am, report me. The question still hasn't been answered. Please answer the question.
