Another one of my crazy ideas which came from a single POD. This time, it was that Prince William, Duke of Gloucester, is born without hydrocephalus and succeeds his mother as King of Great Britain in 1714, marrying his cousin, Ulrika Eleanora of Sweden. I also came up with the following sequence of events:
* IOTL, Charles XII of Sweden's sister, Hedwig Sophia, was offered to William's cousin, Charles, but the marriage plan went through. ITTL, the fates of Charles and his elder brother Christian are swapped, then Hedwig Sophia marries Christian, who was closer to her in age than Charles.
* Christian and Hedwig Sophia have a son, Christian. After the death of Charles XII of Sweden, Hedwig Sophia, having lived an extra 10 years, becomes queen instead of Ulrika Eleanora, then dies or abdicates, passing the throne to her son, Christian III of Sweden.
Is this crazy? Are there any major flaws or oversights? Are there better ways to wank the Oldenburg dynasty (any more than what happened IOTL)?
