AQ Retaliation?

I personally think that if bin Laden had been killed in December, 2001 we would be dealing with a much worse reaction in the Middle and Near East then we did in OTL. Scott Palter wrote an excellent timeline with bin Laden's early death as a trigger for some cataclysmic events. (See link below.)

Some may disagree with this view given the seemingly mild reaction that came following his death in OTL. However, consider, that this was barely 3 months after September 11th. OBL was the "darling" of the Islamic Fundamentalists at that time. He had successfully struck at American interests and shown the U.S. to be vulnerable. I truly believe given that he was riding such a wave of adulation from others of like mind there would have been some form of retaliation in the form of riots and attacks on foreign interests.

No. 9/11 was about a globally condemned event as you can get; if Bin Laden was anyone's "darling", it was oh those who bad longed to see an attack on the US for years, and as such won't be especially inspired to carry out more attacks by his death. A death, I should note, that would surprise nobody.

Umm, aside from being a bigoted peice of shit that assumes that Muslims would be angered by our great leader Osama, it uses the word "wogs" and not in a quote or anything, evil Arabs sending hordes of kids to make Israel look bad and horrible Kosovan's ethnically cleansing poor Serbs (Its like having Jews commit a Holocaust against the Nazis).

Jeez, any other horrible stereotypes about Muslims that guy didn't include? Perhaps a Jihad in Europe to make all women were the Burka was missing.
