WI no Western Intervention in Russia 1917-

Suppose British American and others did not send forces against Lenin?

Would relations be better?

Would the Russian Civil war be shorter and less vicious?

The west did send troops to Russia they ocupied Archangelsky and the japanese sent troops to the orient. It is just that the intervention is very downplayed by the west.American troops fought im russiam soil.

I think OP was asking what if that hadn't happened.

While, in general, the Soviet "system" would be less suspicious of the Western powers, the system would still foster strong confrontation with the capitalist West.

Additionally, Russia has always been (somewhat stereotypically) suspicious of the West, having an inferiority complex of sorts. Native Russians tell me this stems from centuries of Russia being technologically backwards compared to the West, lots of invasionts, and from long periods suffering under the "Tatar Yoke."
