WI: no Saxon Kings of Poland

The Saxon’s kings of Poland were notorious for there luxurious spending and well down right incompetence. They took Poland from being one of the premier nations in Europe after the Battle of Vienna to its eventual Partition. My question is what if a different set of kings ruled Poland during the period of 1697-1768 would they have been more successful resisting the Partition. Two options could be, to continue with the Sobieski Familiy and have James Louis Sobieski be the next king of Poland or have Maximilian II Emanuel, Elector of Bavaria come and be king as queen Marie Casimire wanted. James Louis Sobieski would be more pro-Austrian and Maximilian II Emanuel would be pro French, the Saxon kings were mostly pro Russian.
