WI no pyramids?

The Egyptians don't build the pyramids. Their rulers go straight to the non-pyramid tombs of later dynasties, or their bodies are floated down the Nile to the sea, or they have other ways to show grain, or the space aliens don't build them for them or whatever POD you want to use. No pyramids, just the normal temples and inscriptions you get with any other civilization of that level.

How does this affect the rest of history?

I think you mean "store grain".

Also, "Ben Carson for GOP nomination" intensifies :p

"Just send message for moderator."

I'm embarrassed to admit I don't know how to do that. The "post text messages" thing? Though this is an obvious one and they are likely to catch this.

You probably end up with a far more decentralized early Egypt. Building the pyramids was a huge undertaking in social engineering and coordination, which the centralizing Old Kingdom monarchy was able to thoroughly exploit. Chances are you end up with more power devolved to provincial magnates, who may redirect all the available surplus labour to other sorts of projects - think grandiose irrigation schemes, temples to local deities, etc.
This could either lengthen or shorten the life of the Old Kingdom state, depending on how productively the Residence and the provinces are able to cooperate, and depending on what sort of technical breakthroughs the other, more localized projects lead to.
