There are so many threads in this forum that explore the possibilities of "No Roman Empire" and "No Mongol Empire" scenarios (which was fascinating and fun to discuss, of course), but after using search function I realize the absence of "No Ottoman Empire" scenario... (or I'm wrong?)
So, what if Ottoman Empire never existed? Let's say Osman I died in infancy, and Turkish beyliks in Anatolia never get unified...
Was the emergence of "single dominator" in Middle East at that time really inevitable? Just like one theory which stated that the "Mediterranean dominator" during Antiquity was pretty much inevitable?
What would happen to Egypt, Persia, and Anatolia?
Will the fall of Constantinople and discovery of new World delayed? If yes, by who?
What would be the diifferences for European imperialism, and Europe itself?
