What if the Nigerian Civil War of the late 1960's, which saw rebellions spring up everywhere in the country (most notably Biafra) and left a lot of infrastructure and economic potential destroyed, had not happened?
I mean, considering the country's ethnic composition, some civil strife was inevitable, and Nigerian democracy would have to take some time to solidify. But, even IOTL, post-civil war Nigeria still became an economic and political powerhouse in West Africa. Without a coup in 1966, could this country rise to even greater heights?
How would a stabler Nigeria interact with her neighbours?
