WI no Mehmed IV, Suleiman II right after Ibrahim

Ibrahim I - an insane Ottoman emperor - was the only brother of Emperor Murad not killed, becasue it was felt he wasn't a threat. This was, to say the least, verys hortsighted, as Murad then died and left Ibrahim on the throne.

The emperor snatched the infant Mehmed IV from his other and threw him into a cistern ina fit of rage, but he survived. Had he died, however, not only would Ibrahim's mother still rule, but when Ibrahim ws deposed, another son, Suleiman, would reign, and this one had a different mother; meaning that Ibrahim's mother may continue to be regent.

1. What result would there be if Ibrahim wasn't deposed till later? My guess is not much, it appears that his mother continued to hold power and would keep doing so.

2. With a different son of his reigning, wht difference would there be in Ottoman wars? Suleiman II spent much of his life in a really lavish prison, so it might be hard to tell, but he and his successor brother each did quite poorly against the Hapsburgs, Poles, etc.. However,w as this because of their lack of ability or the presence of really good Europeans devoted to beating the Ottomans and chains them out of Hungary?
