What would happen if George Jennings had kept in the business working with glass becomming a Glazier instead of changing gears into becoming a plumber? When would flushing toilets then be 'reinvented'/popularized into a modern setting? and what would this change cause of prehaps increased disease outbreaks from lacking sanitery engineering?

Obviously no flush toilets is a no go since someone, sooner or later would invent something similar to Jennings concept, but is there any prime contenders for managing the push?
