More likely, Cushitic expansion towards eastern Africa manages to stick around for longer, and perhaps the Khoi-San develop their own technologies independently through contact with them?
Reduction in disease spread, slowly dispersal of banana, taro and water yam, metallurgy stays in central Africa, formation of clan based elephant hunters for ivory trade, greater austronesian presence in continental Southeast Africa and later formation of ATL malagasy mining populations at various gold sites.
The khoi are Sandawe-Cushitic peoples distinct socially and genetically from the various "san" peoples.
