WI No Act of Union

Never mind how it happens, at least in this thread -- I'm only looking at the implications, assuming England and Scotland maintain a dual monarchy at least for the duration of the 18th Century.
 
Union of the Crowns carries on. Scottish enlightenment still happens as Scots travel to London and Scots education would not be changed by this.

Indeed, other than the fact the Scots nobility being less anglified, not much change until the 20th c.

Edit: I should clarify though, Scotland would undoubtedly be poorer in such a timeline, as trade with the colonies would still likely be blocked. Also, Emperer, Scotland and England were on the verge of going to war when the union was agreed. Makes it more remarkable really.
