What if Nero Fled to the East?

In 68 BC, Nero's was faced with rebellion in the western half Roman Empire and committed suicide. What if he had of instead fled to either Greece or Egypt? Their is some indication that he was planning this but could not get any soldiers to support him in his efforts to flee. So what if Nero is able to keep the trust of enough men to get him to the East? What happens next? What does Galba do? What does Vespasian do? Could Nero regain his throne? Could he maintain a separate empire of sorts in Greece, Egypt or somewhere else in the East?

Nero himself still seems to have had a good level of support in the East, his patronage, "liberation" of Greece from taxation and the peace with Parthia made him a pretty popular person. Even in the aftermath of his death many in the East were saddened.
Eastern sources, namely Philostratus II and Apollonius of Tyana, mention that Nero's death was mourned as he "restored the liberties of Hellaswith a wisdom and moderation quite alien to his character"[159] and that he "held our liberties in his hand and respected them."
