Let's say Spain takes a more defensive stance in the Rif War. It focuses on defending the iron mines and fortifying the territory it currently holds instead of over-extending itself into the Rif. The disaster at Annual never happens and the war effectively stalemates. The war ends with some kind of ceasefire, maybe with Abd-el-Krim accepting a nominal Spanish protectorate. This butterflies away the Primo de Rivera dictatorship and the establishment of the Republic in 1931. Assuming we don't see too many butterflies and Germany and Italy are in the same place they were OTL by 1934, how does Spain fare in the coming years?
