Big Spenders and Safecrackers will be going to premiere on June 16, 1975 replacing Celebrity Sweepstakes and Jackpot. Shortly after the premiere of the two shows, NBC was picking up The Magnificent Marble Machine, which is due to replace Blank Check, beginning July 7, months shortly after the premieres of Big Spenders and Safecrackers. However both shows lasted all the way to September 26, 1975, replacing these two shows with Hatos-Hall's 3 for the Money and a daytime version of The New Treasure Hunt. These two shows would never past November 28, replacing with hour-long expansions of Wheel of Fortune and The Hollywood Squares.
