I don't think this has been posted before, but if it has can I have a link to the other thread?
What if the Nazis signed a pact with the western European countries? It might be possible, with French and English leaders so eager for "peace in their time". They might even think it'll kill two birds with one stone, in hope that a war between the germans and soviets would cause them to bleed eachother out. Would the Soviets fall, leaving Hitler with thousands of extra battle hardened soldier to take on the west, instead of them fighting in the USSR? Would western europe even sign this pact? Where would the US sit in this whole scenario? Would there be a Lend-Lease, or would the US not care about the soviets? Where would Poland sit in this? Would this have made any difference in the overall outcome of WW2?
-sorry for all the questions.
