Volcano in Japan? Sakura-jima erupted as recently as May 7. A volcano is firing up right now on the Kamchata Peninsula, just across from Hokkaido.
Locusts? There are current (May 5, 2008) caution reports about "hopper bands" in coastal South East Iran. Guess who's just across the frontier?
So, if we get this set of circumstances tomorrow or this weekend what happends? Nothing at all. Just another day on good 'ol Terra.
