What would happen if Napoleon had won at Acre? Was it possible? Wouyld Napoleon have gotten further into the Ottoman Empire?

It WAS possible, but the further he advanced, the further he risked losing Egypt. I can see him taking Damascus. The Ottomans are gonna hate him more and more, and will probably become the coalitions' allies. Maybe Russia will ally with France for that reason, though.

Russian allying with France and the turks with Britain and Austria, now that would be a very good change to history:D

It's though.
Ottomans are still something to be reckoned with, his supplies are cut.
We can assume he goes his way through Syria, and maybe have some success in Southeastern Anatolia.
Then... what?
He can't bring down the OE all alone, not with a power base in Egypt. An alliance with both Russia and Persia is possible but very difficult a nd probably not lasting.
He could try to hit the British where it hurts (India) but it's going to be a fucking pain in the ass for him.
Meanwhile, Metropolitan France is in a rather grim situation both military, and, even more so, politically.
Hmmm.... I don't know.

It won't make a heap of difference. He's still going to get cut off and nothing will stop the Egyptians from overthrowing what little French garrisons he had stationed there. At most, he would temporarily weaken the Ottomans but it wouldn't be long until he runs out of supplies, ammo and men and without the support of France, he'll be toast.

Not sure how far Napoleon could have gone after capturing Acre, but I believe he wouldn't go very far. Probably could grab one or two more cities in the Holy Land, but not much more in my opinion.

The Egyptian & Syrian Campaign was pretty much doomed after the Naval* Battle of Aboukir. The French were alone and isolated in Egypt, though the locals were pretty friendly thanks to Napoleon not changing much to their lifestyle. But the Turks would want Egypt back and Britain wasn't going to let the French keep Egypt (too important for communication with India). Napoleon winning at Acre could make the situation better (as the Turks would have to take Acre back before concentrating on Egypt) or worse (French force could get overstretched).

*There was also a Land Battle of Aboukir, but Napoleon won this one.

I don't see a Napoleonic victory at Acre changing much. In fact, it might make things worse for Napoleon. Cut off as he was, his army was slowly wearing away through attrition, and extending his reach into Palestine only made things worse. Logistically, and with such limited troop numbers (the expedition to Palestine consisted of 13,000 troops, IIRC), I cannot see how much farther he could have gone.

The Turks were already planning the naval expedition against Egypt to reclaim that province from Napoleon. IOTL, this was completely shattered by Napoleon at the Battle of Aboukir, but would it have been had 10,000 of his troops been dangling out in and around Acre?
