WI: Nader Primary Challenge in 2000?

What if Nader decided to challenge Gore in the primaries? Would he have won anything? Would the name recognition from the bid help the Green Party in the election. Would Florida even happen?

My gut feeling is that Gore was considered
by the Democrat's Bill's heir & that they had
all determined it would be Gore & nobody but Gore. So Nader would have lost out &
Gore still have been the nominee.
