WI: Mussolini wasn't expulsed out of the Italian Socialist Party

Well I think he still would of ended up leaving it if maybe a year or so later. To the opportunist in him he could see that without the support of the landowners in Italy he wasnt going to get very far.

Short of Mussolini abandoning his support for Italian entry in the war, I can't see him being allowed to stay in the party tbh. And since a belief in militarism and support for Italian involvement in WW1 was clearly one of the cornerstones of Mussolini's personal beliefs, I can't see him dropping them. I wouldn't say its ASB, but for it to happen you'd basically need a very different Mussolini

Short of the syndicalists wing of the party coming out on top I have a hard time seeing Benito staying with the party for any length of time the only difference would be he walks instead of being forced out.

Or the Comintern not going so overboard on the whole 'no left deviation' thing. They literally spread the message that Communists should spend more time attacking the centre-left than the right!

Mussolini would have to be far more influential within the Italian Socialist Party, that or the Syndicalists, to prevent such an expulsion. Had he remained, I am convinced he could have led a revolution. He had the personality and charisma to inspire such a movement.
