So I have been awash in the English Civil War, its fun to learn about the cavalry due between Cromwell anf Groing. So WI Goring was a better commander and was able to defeat Cromwell routinely. Does this end the Parlimentarians bid?
My impression of Goring was someone who was-on a good day-a superb cavalry commander. The problem was that his good days (due to a combination of drunkenness and a constant quest for self advancement) were few and far between.
