Taken from "Darkest hour - new world order"

"After the war, just like the western allies, the soviets tried to extract huge amounts of supplies and equipaments from newly conquered provinces of germany. According to Soviet foreign ministry data, soviet troops organized in specialised "trophy" battalions organized removals of 1.28m tons of materials and 3.6m tons of equipament. The soviet occupation sought to extract the 10bn from it's occupation zone in eastern germany, in addition to the trophy removals...."

So basically the soviet union looted eastern germany to bleed them dry, it is easy to understand why so many people left the country, but here my question: What if Stalin, maybe for a miracle or for thinking that a lenient occupation would create a strong ally in the future, they had begun the reconstruction of germany just after the end of the war (and didn't looted it), thus leading to a earlier creation of DDR (1947 maybe?), would this give more years of life to the state before the fall of the Berlin wall?
